Dr. Bradley Haupricht Jr., MD has been practicing medicine in the Lynchburg community since 2012. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Throughout his career, he has cared for athletes of all levels, from youth athletes to collegiate and professional level athletes to weekend warriors and those attempting to maintain their mobility and independence. Each patient has their own unique challenges, goals and needs. Dr. Haupricht aims to treat each of his patients individually and personally but with the same urgency, value and importance to get them back to their activities as quickly and safely as possible. Dr. Haupricht is excited to join the VSSI team and a group of likeminded clinicians and performance coaches. Dr. Haupricht and Dr. Lowes have had the opportunity to co-manage athletes and patients since 2012 and are excited to now get to join forces at VSSI.
Dr. Haupricht’ s approach starts by taking the time to listen to his patients fully. His extensive training and expertise utilize a multipronged approach to the diagnosis and management of any issue or injury, utilizing both the body’s own ability to heal itself and the latest techniques and research to assist in the healing. Using these techniques he can diagnose and manage concussions, new acute injuries and pain, chronic long-term pain and evaluation for improvement toward sport performance. This holistic approach is tailored to the needs and wants of you the patient, whether you are preparing for your next professional season or want to improve your wellness, Dr. Haupricht and the team at Virginia Sport & Spine Institute look forward to the opportunity to care for you.
