MOVE & FEEL YOUR BEST WHEN SOMETHING IS customized FOR YOU

During normal gait, the foot is the first thing to contact the ground. Ground reaction forces are transmitted up into the body. Poor foot mechanics do not allow the body to disperse these forces which can

lead to pain and joint irritation.

Abnormal foot motion can contribute to many problems from the foot up to the low back negatively affecting performance in athletics and overall quality of life. Custom foot orthotics are intended to alter the speed and magnitude of the body’s abnormal foot motion. This reduces force and pressure throughout the foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower back.

  • Total contact custom foot orthotics allow the foot to become more stable by distributing forces across a larger area.

  • Angulation changes bring the ground to the foot which decreases the magnitude of the foot’s abnormal motion.

  • Appropriate orthotic material choice can enhance energy absorption and energy transfer reducing stress to the foot and lower limb structures.
