Perry has lived in the Lynchburg area for over 30 years.
Pedorthists specialize in design, fabrication, modification, and fit of footwear, such as shoes and foot orthotics, to alleviate problems caused by overuse, disease, congenital issue or injury.
While Pedorthists focus on providing products from the ankle down to the foot, problems that can be addressed with foot orthotics can occur much higher up the movement chain. In addition to foot ailments like hammertoes, bunions, heel spurs, achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis, disorders such as chronic ankle sprains, shin splints, hip pain, and even low back pain could be aided with foot orthotics.
Perry has a strong background in foot and ankle pathomechanics that he relies on to provide the most appropriate and specific device for each individual problem. He continually strives to increase his knowledge base and recently received his Orthotic Fitter certification through the ABC so he can provide over the counter orthoses to individuals in need of such devices.
Perry has a passion for athletics, having played collegiate soccer at Virginia Intermont College, and has coached soccer in the Lynchburg area for almost 20 years. He participates in CrossFit and Spartan activities regularly as well as enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Kelly, dog Remi and the newest addition to his family – his daughter Mara.
Perry is a certified pedorthist and believes in providing quality patient care, as well as, the best product for each individual because he himself has been a patient many times. He wears foot orthotics to address the myriad of issues that have plagued him in his active lifestyle.
