Dr. Kate LeFevre joins VSSI after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Augusta University in Georgia. She grew up as a military kid, moving all over the country and being surrounded by physical fitness from a young age. She developed a love of running with her dad, competed in track and field through high school, and continued with long-distance running, completing numerous half marathons. Her other passion for riding horses led her to compete on Liberty University's equestrian team for four years while she earned her Bachelor's in Exercise Science. While attending Liberty, she also completed an internship with Liberty's Division 1 strength and conditioning program, which confirmed her choice to pursue her physical therapy degree to bridge the gap between strength and conditioning and physical therapy.
Kate and her husband recently returned to the Lynchburg area, where she looks forward to working with athletes of all ages and sports to get back to doing what they love. The patient-therapist relationship is important to her, and she loves taking the time to make sure your goals and concerns are heard and met. You can find her hiking, lifting, cooking, and spending time with her husband when she's not working.
