Dr. Jeffrey Lowes founded Virginia Sport & Spine Institute in 2018. His foundational knowledge and professional experience combined with his background as an athlete provide his patients with the most comprehensive and integrative approach to evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injuries.

His education and expertise for treating injuries and improving sports performance have allowed him the opportunity to work with the local athletic community at all levels from aspiring youngsters up through college and the professional ranks. He spends time each week in the training rooms and on the sidelines treating local collegiate athletes.

In our facility, he treats active individuals of all ages and skill levels. His goal is to provide the highest quality, individualized treatment that yields the fastest results. Period! If you have tried other treatments without success, you may be a candidate for a functional movement assessment which provides Dr. Lowes valuable insight regarding his patient’s problems by observing their movement patterns to determine muscular imbalances, restrictions and weakness’ that will result in improper biomechanics causing decreased sports performance, which can lead to an injury. Once a biomechanical problem has been revealed, Dr. Lowes will prescribe an individualized treatment plan for pain relief, optimal health, and enhanced sports performance.
