Dr. Nate Daugherty joins the team at VSSI as a graduate of the University of Lynchburg’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where he earned his DPT degree in May of 2020. Prior to joining VSSI, he worked as a Physical Therapist at Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, where he treated patients with various medical diagnoses, balance deficits, and orthopedic conditions. Originally from Kansas, Dr. Daugherty moved to Lynchburg with his wife Aryelle in 2016 after living in North and South Carolina for 2 years post-undergrad.
An athlete himself, Nate has special interests in working with active individuals who strive to better themselves, whether in a performance setting or recreationally. He has a special interest in general orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehab. Nate is excited to join the team at VSSI and provide quality patient-centered care to individuals in need.
